Welcome to OPB's National Production Resources Center. If you are currently working with OPB to produce or distribute your program airing on either APT or PBS, you can download packaging elements here. (If you are a producer who is not working with OPB but would like to establish a partnership, please read about our Program Management Services).

You can use either the :02 or :03 OPB logo depending on program timing.

PBS LOGOS
PBS External System Cue: Each program to be aired through PBS must conclude with the PBS :05 external system cue ("I am PBS" or "We are PBS").
PBS Widescreen Identifier: All programs available in HD or Widescreen must have a :10 ID at the top of all versions of the program. Note: The digital open will deduct :10 from your total program running time on both versions.
"E/I" BUG: The "E/I" Bug should appear on all core mission children's programs.
TV RATINGS ICONS
For APT Programs: Place TV ratings icons at the top of all APT programs before delivery.
For PBS programs: PBS will issue the rating and insert the icon after you have delivered the program.
The following icons are provided for standard use:
  • TV-Y All Children: This program is designed to be appropriate for all children. Whether animated or live-action, the themes and elements in this program are specifically designed for a very young audience, including children ages 2-6. This program is not expected to frighten younger children.
  • TV-G General Audience: Most parents would find this program suitable for all ages. Although this rating does not signify a program designed specifically for children, most parents may let younger children watch this program unattended. It contains little or no violence, no strong language and little or no sexual dialogue or situations.
  • TV-PG Parental Guidance Suggested: This program may contain some material that parents may find unsuitable for younger children. Many parents may want to watch it with their younger children.
